Motoric
skills of infants aged 7 months, among others, capable of holding his

Similarly, the research findings presented in Child Development Conference at the British Psychological Society as released from ScienceDaily Newcastle on Tuesday (13/09/2011).
The
research was conducted by a team led by Dr Elisabeth Hill (University of
London), Dr Hayley Leonard (Goldsmiths) and the British Autism Study of
Infant Siblings (BASIS) based in the Birkbeck University of London.
Statistical analysis showed that the group is at risk of ASD lack the motor skills are good and detected since the age of 7 months. Motor skills can be either gross motor skills like the ability to hold the head, rolled, learned to walk, as well as fine motor skills such as grasping and playing small objects. The low motor skills are still visible up to 24 months of assessment.
"Although infants at risk may not be diagnosed ASD ASD, research shows that low motor development could have a negative impact on language skills and cognitive and social development over time. The low motor development may impact on the development of social skills, school achievement and long-term performance , "Hayley said Dr. Leonard, one of the researchers.
Researchers examined the baby sister who was diagnosed to have ASD. Your relationship is known at high risk for autistic disorder. The researchers studied the ability of infants at the age of 7, 14 and 24 months.
The results of two groups of infants who participated in the study were 54 infants who were diagnosed at risk of a diagnosis of ASD based on his brother, and 50 low-risk infants without a diagnosis based on the brothers. The babies are then evaluated a variety of motor skills and parent reports are also documented.
